At that time, only a few photos were released, but later details were revealed and it turned out to be a 10.1-inch laptop.
"OneMix 4" is one size larger than "OneMix" which was 7 inches until now. It is scheduled to be released in Japan around April 18, but I borrowed the product a little earlier, so I would like to review it.
There are two types of OneMix 4: a regular model and a platinum edition. The regular model has a Core i5 CPU, while the platinum edition has a Core i7 CPU. Storage can be selected from 256GB, 512GB, 1TB for the normal model, and 512GB, 1TB for the platinum edition, and only the 256GB of the normal model has 8GB of memory (all others are 16GB).
You can also select an English keyboard or a Japanese keyboard. The screen resolution is 2560 x 1600 on a 10.1-inch monitor and supports 10 points of multi-touch. It is compatible with 2048 levels of pen pressure detection touch pen. The interface is one Type-C USB3.0, two Type-C USB4.0, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm earphone jack. The battery is 10000mAh, and PD supports charging from a mobile battery. The body size is 227mm x 157.3mm x 9-17mm, and the body weight is 769g. It also has a fingerprint scanner and keyboard backlight. Fingerprint authentication doubles as the power button.

・The change to the touchpad is quite good
The operation interface has been changed from the optical pointing device used so far to a touchpad that is easy to operate. This would be a big improvement. 10.1 inch is the only advantage. To be honest, I couldn't say that the optical pointing device was easy to operate.
・The screen is larger than expected
Since the edge of the display is thin and the screen is used to the maximum, the screen can be perceived as large. I wonder if you can experience it bigger than 10.1 inches. However, since it is a glossy liquid crystal, it has the disadvantage of being difficult to see in bright places. If you want to upgrade in the future, I would like to have a non-glossy finish.
・Is the keyboard layout correct?
Speaking of the "OneMix" series, perhaps the fate of UMPCs was due to their small size, which made them famous for their forced keyboard layout. I often wonder, "Why is this key here?" It's so special that I wondered if it would be more efficient to connect an external keyboard and use it. Putting the cart before the horse to connect an external keyboard to the UMPC. However, "OneMix 4" solved such a forced arrangement to some extent. The size of the buttons on the Matsu keyboard has become larger, perhaps because there was a little more room. Until now, the Romaji layout was out of alignment, but that seems to have disappeared.
・The operability of the touchpad is good
The touchpad adopted from "OneMix 4" has a fairly good operability. Scroll with two fingers up and down (you can also scroll left and right), minimize with three fingers down, and undo with a three-finger swipe up, gestures very similar to Macs.
The keyboard layout problem has almost disappeared, and the optical pointing device has been changed to a touch pad. The screen is just the right size, not too small. Some people may say it's still small, but it's perfect for those who want to carry it around all the time. Since it can be charged with a mobile battery, I am very grateful that I can charge it without looking for an outlet on the go. It's not that there are no weaknesses at all, but "OneMix 4" seems to have overcome the weaknesses of the previous "OneMix" series.
ONE-NETBOOK has also released the gaming UMPC "OneGx1 Pro", and I would like to expect high-quality UMPCs in the future.
The OneMix 4 reviewed this time is a laptop that I personally wanted. After all, the laptop I personally use is the one I bought in 2014, so it's pretty loose...
