On January 6 (US time), Huawei announced a new Ascend series model "Ascend Mate2 4G" at the 2014 International CES.
Ascend Mate2 4G is the successor to the "Ascend Mate" announced at CES in 2013. It is a high-end smartphone with a large 6.1-inch display, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.3 OS. The large-capacity battery of 4050mAh can watch 6 movies in a row or listen to music for more than 100 hours, and can browse the web for half a day.
The body size is 84.7 (width) x 161 (height) x 9.5 (thickness) mm and weighs about 202 grams. It features a slim and stylish body that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, and uses the company's unique user interface that makes it easy to operate with one hand. It is also possible to use the large screen to display notes, messages, calendars, etc. on one screen. "Gloves Mode" that allows operation while wearing gloves and "Driving Mode" that allows voice operation while driving are also available.
