NTT Docomo added "TONE for iPhone" by Freebit from December 22nd to the new service "Economy MVNO" that handles MVNO contracts at docomo shops.
Mobile phone number (090/080/070), IP phone number (050), and all-you-can-use data other than video are included for 1,100 yen per month.
In 2013, FreeBit began providing services as an MVNO that uses NTT Docomo lines. In 2015, it formed a business and capital alliance with Culture Convenience Club (CCC) and provided services as Tone Mobile.
Tone Mobile has developed products targeting the "layer with a smartphone for the first time", from children who start attending cram schools from an early stage to high school students.
NTT Docomo offers an online-only plan "ahamo" for those who need about 20GB of data capacity, while for users who do not need much data capacity, they have teamed up with MVNOs to create an "economy plan". We are trying to provide services in the framework of MVNO.
"OCN Mobile ONE", which was developed by NTT Communications, which will become a subsidiary of NTT Docomo from next year, has already offered a plan of 500MB and 550 yen per month. On December 22nd, Freebit will join as the second economy MVNO.
